my name is Alayna! In today’s video, We’re going to be doing
this soft Glam look right here, which is so stunning and I’m honestly
so impressed with so I’m actually
going to be using the new Bare Necessities
collection from Colourpop that I’m so excited for you guys to see
it is so stunning and it helped me get
this look right here. So if you want to see me use all the products in
the Bare Necessities collection from Colourpop then
make sure to keep on watching but don’t forget to give
this video a huge thumbs up as well as hit that subscribe button
and turn post notifications on so you can be notified
every time I post a video and let’s go
ahead and get right into the tutorial and review. Okay. So the first thing in the bare necessities
collection is actually this brush set right here and it comes in this really
nice light pink role and this has face
and eye brushes and this does retail for $35. So just by looking
at the brushes they are in this really nice
light pink nude color, which I am obsessed with I
think there are so gorgeous and just by feeling them. They feel really nice and soft. I was really impressed by and I just think
it’s really cute. It has the colourpop logo on it. And when you open it up it
has the brushes in the inside, which I will show you guys. I think this will be a really
great gift to give someone if they do make up
if they do their own makeup. They’re looking for new brushes. I honestly would be really happy if somebody got me
this for Christmas and I just think this is
a really nice set. Okay. So the next thing
in the collection, which I am So so excited for is
the bare necessities palette which is in this a really
nice neutral packaging which I think is stunning. I know by the time I get
some work out of this palette is definitely not going to be
as beautiful as it is right now, but for right now it
is so beautiful to look at so this is colorpops
30 eyeshadow pan palette. It does retail for $30 and this is my first time
ever getting a pallet. It is in this
size from colour-pop. Normally their palates are
a lot smaller than this but this is actually smaller
than I expected it to be I thought it would be
a little bit bigger, but I honestly like this size because I feel like I
can still travel with this. I know that’s a big thing
for me is specially because if I’m traveling I want to be able to take
the palette with me if I love it so much. I want to be able to carry
it wherever I can go and I honestly know this will
still fit into my makeup bag, which I am so happy. About so when you open this up, this is what
the eyeshadow palette looks like and it has all of these gorgeous
beautiful neutrals inside which I’m obsessed
with I love the fact that this palette in particular has a black as
well as a light cream shade, which I think you really need in so many different
palettes don’t feel like a lot of Pilots miss
those two shades in there. So I’m really happy
that this one has that in here and basically
for the price 30 bucks are basically getting
each eye shadow for a dollar which is honestly really good. I think this is just
a beautiful palette. I definitely could see
myself wearing this on an everyday basis which
I cannot complain about because sometimes you just need that go-to palette that you can use all
the time and you know that you can get a really good look out of
every single time and honestly, I feel like this palette from me would definitely
be that palette. Okay, so that’s enough rambling
about all of the information. so let’s go ahead and get right
into this soft Glam tutorial and my review. Okay. So you guys already know I’m going to be using
the new Bare Necessities palette from colourpop as
well as the brush set. I’m really stoked to see how this palette and brush
set is going to perform. So I figured I would go ahead
and do a soft Glam tutorial for you guys because that has been
super trendy lately and I love how effortless and Glam it is at the same time. So I’m And in show you guys
my take on these soft Glam. Look the first shade I’m going to take right
here is hot gossip, which is a really nice neutral
Brown and I’m going to add that as my transition shade and I’m going to be taking
the colourpop E15, which is from that brush set. I think this is
a perfect blending brush and will be perfect
for the transition. So I’m going to use
that as well. Okay. So right off the bat
this brush is so nice. It is absolutely soft. It feels really good blending
on my I don’t get that itchy or scratchy feeling when I’m blending the Shadow
on which is really great. And I feel like it’s doing
a really nice job and the shade I’m using
hot gossip is close to my skin tone, but it’s still a really nice shade to use as
a transition color, especially for a soft Glam. Look you definitely
want to make sure that you’re using Shades that are going to just be Blown
out and look effortless and I feel like this is
a really nice shape for that. Okay. So the next shade I’m going to
be using is the shade tabloid, which is this nice medium brown
and I’m going to blend that into the crease as well
as deeply it up a little bit and then blend it in
towards the nose contour and then I’m going
to take that on it. E16. Just want to start blending that up into the crease
and on the outer V. And you want to kind of
blend this shade up higher than you normally would just because you want
to make sure you bring it in towards that nose contour and then you just want to make
sure you sweep it all the way in just want to make sure that you’re hitting that bone and you’re blending it right up
under that eyebrow and so far. I’m really impressed with these Brushes they
are really getting the job done and they are blending out
these eyeshadows really nicely. So the next shade I’m going
to be using is the shade crack on which is really
nice deep Brown and I’m going to use that in the outer V and blade up a little bit
into the crease and I’m going to take
that on a e17, but what you want to do
with this color is just make sure you pack this shade on
in the outer V and help build up that Dip and you
do want to bring it in just a little bit
into the crease. So the next shade I’m going
to take is the shade taboo. And I’m just going to add
that on the outer V just a little bit to help
deepen it up some more and I’m going to take
that same brush to E17 to help blend that shade in you kind of want
to make sure you blend it like right by the Lash line and then work it up. So now I’m going to take
this shade full expose which Really nice cream
and I’m going to take that on the inner part
of my eyelid and work it until the metal part. I’m going to take that
on a packing brush this d-iii, which is a really nice Packer brush
and I’m just going to pack that all the way from where we Contour the nose
with these Shadow and work it all the way back. And as you can see just
by applying that cream shade how pigmented these shades are. This is a really
nice opaque cream eyeshadow. Doh and this shade you
just want to make sure you’re carving out your crease you’re kind of doing it without the concealer you just
using the eyeshadow as the guide which I do this a lot. Okay. So this is the soft
Glam looks so far. So now I’m going
to smoke a little bit of brown eyeshadow right
across that lash line. So I’m gonna go back in
with the shade taboo, and I’m just going to add that on the Lash line to give
it a little bit of depth there and I’m going to take
that on an L1 brush. So it’s just really natural, but it’s giving
us that dip. Okay, so I’m going to go ahead
and do the other eye off camera as well as as some lashes and then
I’m going to come back on here do the base really quickly and then we’ll get into using
some of the brushes for the base and doing the lower lash line. Okay, so I’m back. I did my base. I added lashes and this is
how they look is looking so far. I am obsessed with it. So I figured I would get on here
and show you guys my bronzer and blush as well as
the lower lash line on camera because I’m going to be using
some of the brushes from the brush set. So I’m going
to be using my fenty Beauty Coco Naughty bronzer, which I love this is
my favorite bronzer of all time, and I’m going to be taking
that on an Teen which is a really nice brush that I feel like
would be good for bronzer. I’m just going to
bronze of the face. This is super soft. It feels so nice
on the skin and I feel like it’s picking up a really
good amount of product. I feel like it’s not picking
up too much is picking up just enough to help
distribute on to the face. Oh God, this is probably
going to be one of my new favorite brushes. This did such a good job
blending out my bronzer. I am loving it. So now I’m going
to go in with blush and I’m going to be
using the Buxom blush in the shade Mykonos, and I’m going to be using
this brush right here, which is the
colourpop F21 brush, which is a nice angular brush that can really get in
to the apples of the cheek and work back that So I’m really excited to see
how this applies. Oh, yes. Oh, yes. This brush is great for blush. Okay. So now we’re going to do
the lower lash line. So I’m going to take a mixture
of all the shades I use so I’m going to take
a shade of hot gossip. I’m going to take tabloid. I’m going to take taboo
and I’m just going to blend all of those on the lower
lash line very effortlessly and I’m going to do
that within E21 brush. So I’m going back in with that shade
tabloid and learning that on the lower lash line
and now I’m going in with taboo, and I’m just adding a smidge of that on the outer V
of that not too much because I don’t want to be
too smoky but just a little bit. Okay. So this is the look so far. So I’m going to go
ahead and get off camera and do the rest of my makeup
and then I’ll get back on let you guys know
my final thoughts on the bare necessities palette
as well as the brushes. Okay. So this is the Finish soft Glam tutorial using
the bare necessities. Palette and brush set and I am obsessed
with this look. I think it looks so stunning. I just love
how these shades are paired. I just feel like this look
is such a good look to wear when you want something a little
bit more on these saw side, but you still want that. I want that Glam. Look to your look. I think this is perfect as for
the bare necessities palette. I love this palette. I think this is
such a great palette if As someone who likes to use
very neutral tones on a day-to-day basis as well as this can be used to make
so many different look and I think this
would be an awesome gift. If you know somebody who loves
makeup to give for Christmas. I think this is a really
good gift to give especially for the prize. This is such a good steel and I love the packaging on this
a very Sleek neutral packaging and I literally cannot wait
to use this everyday. Because this is definitely
going to be a staple in my collection. Okay, so as for the brush set I honestly was
so impressed with this. I didn’t think I was going
to be that amazed Bob but wow, these brushes are so soft. You guys. You will not believe it. Like I’m telling you they are so soft but they’re
not so soft to the fact that they’re not picking
up any product. I feel like these brushes
definitely distribute the product so beautifully on the face, they definitely
don’t pick up that much. They honestly just pick up enough product to just
get that color over and to blend it out so nicely. I honestly love this and the color of them is
to die for their literally the most perfect
like light pink nude brushes and I am so obsessed. I think they are
very Sleek very beautiful. And honestly, I think
this is a really good deal. And I think this is
well would be a really good gift to get somebody
if they are needing brush. Or if they’re looking
for a good brush set. I definitely think you get a lot of different brushes
in here to use. Okay guys. So this is the end of the video. I hope you guys enjoyed
this soft Glam tutorial as much as I did. I think this look is stunning. So let me know if you guys are going
to pick up anything from the bare necessities collection or if you’re going to pick
